1/24/01: Fermi Kerberos version 1_0 has been installed on all the nodes. Execute the command "setup kerberos" to get the latest version. You may wish to put this line in your ~/.cshrc file so it is automatically executing each time you login.
1/24/01: The Run II development environment is available on all
the linux workstations. All the tools installed on
pdsflx003.nersc.gov should also be available. This includes the KAI
compiler, root, and the complete cernlib 97a.
9/15/99: A useful service for converting address books between
Netscape and Pine format is available at this
site.
9/13/99: Users may now create personal web pages by placing
files in the directory /public_html/$USERNAME. These web pages can be
viewed by using the URL http://www-cdf.lbl.gov/~yourname.
Access to all of these machines should be made by SSH instead of telnet or rlogin.
