SVX Chip Terminology Convertor

This page displays a list of SVX chip names in different terminologies, given a pattern (or an exact name) in one of the terminologies. In the pattern, all the usual UNIX wildcards (like *,?,[ ]) can be used. Matches will be made on any name containing the pattern (i.e. a pattern like "LB2W" is interpreted as "*LB2W*"), except for a search with a SiliMon Chip number.

Name format in the different terminologies:

• SVXMon conf. file:   Barrel/Segment/Wedge/Layer/Side/Chip         (ex: "west west 0 0 phi 0")
  

  Offline:                     Barrel/Layer/Wedge/-Segment/Side/Chip       (ex: "W 0 0 -A PHI 0")
  

  Fib Id and Chip #:     ID0 ID1 Chip # (download seq.)                       (ex: "248 3 2")
  

  DAQ:                         [Subdet]B[Barrel]W[Superwedge]L[HDI]C[Chip # (readout seq.)]     (ex: "LB0W0L3C0")
  

          ("Subdet" can take the following values: "L" for Layer 00 ; "S" for SVX ; "I" for ISL)

  SiliMon Chip #:         Integer between 0 and 5643
