Download precompiled Histo-Scope 4.0p23 binaries and libraries for Scientific Linux 5 (64-bit version). The 4.0p23 version is a port to 64-bit platforms, in all other respects it is compatible with 4.0p22.

In order to compile Histo-Scope from sources, you will need a C compiler, a FORTRAN compiler, X11 libraries, Motif, and libpacklib.a from CERNLIB. Please note that recent OpenMotif versions supplied with various Linux distributions are buggy and will result in random crashes of the Histo-Scope GUI. Motif version 2.1 is known to work well; it can be downloaded here.
